For both lawyers and people who find TV shows and movies about lawyers entertaining.We will watch short clips from such movies and TV shows as “Better Call Saul,” “The Good Fight,” “Marriage Story,” and even “L.A. Law” to look at how lawyers’ ethics are depicted in popular media. Discussion will focus on some of the tough questions that these media vignettes illuminate, such as gaps and ambiguities in our profession’s rules. David Hoffman, who teaches legal ethics at Harvard Law School, will lead the discussion; film clip nominations are welcome. Participation via Zoom, with a cap on enrollment of 45 participants. Free!!
